The journey from a QMS to an IMS Part 4: Triple ISO certification!

Our hearty congratulations today go to Allmet Engineering on adding ISO 14001 Environmental and ISO 45001 OH&S to their existing ISO 9001 Quality certification.

Allmet is a steel fabrication business based in Wacol, Brisbane that has been in operation for more than 30 years. It has grown from a workforce of one to more than sixty people.

Allmet provides a wide range of engineering services from laser cutting, folding and machining to welding and painting. It has a comprehensive arsenal of tools and machinery at its 7000m2 fabrication workshop with state-of-the-art facilities.  Services are provided to various industries including:

• Mining
• Transport
• Defence
• Infrastructure
• Construction
• Food and beverage
• Aviation.

Notable clients include Hastings Deering, Queensland Rail, and Penske.

Originally, we helped Allmet to implement their Quality Management System. Since that time, the system has expanded to incorporate other compliance topics. Allmet have become a model client for our Management System Business Partner service. That provides a unique combination of consultancy and software resources that are customised to meet requirements.
