Qudos 3 IMS Software Interface

2021 - A big year for Qudos3 IMS Software

As we near the end of 2021, one thing we can say for certain is that it has been a very big year for Qudos3 IMS Software. Our community is now bigger and stronger than ever - A big 'Thank You' to all our clients for your continued support. The high pace of innovation has continued. These are just a few of the keynote features and enhancements introduced:

Training and competence management

Early in the year, Release 41 brought major improvements to the Training module – making it simpler to use and much more flexible for logging licences and qualifications. That update also included numerous detailed enhancements for Actions, Audits, and Supplier Assessments.

Asset management

The big news for Release 42 was the Completely new Asset management module. This was a major addition - designed to facilitate the management of both physical and information assets. It has proven to be a big winner with many users. Release 42 also brought:

  • Security Classification Scheme. This replaced and built on the previous confidentiality feature. It allows much greater flexibility in controlling access to documents and records - helping you to ensure confidentiality and availability where needed.
  • This was supplemented by an expansion of ISO 27001 InfoSec Toolkit
  • New Meeting Templates feature with sample agendas provided.
  • Integration of Meeting invites to Outlook / Google calendar.
  • Enhancements to Rehabilitation and Insurance tabs in the Injury Form.
  • 3 User-Definable fields in the Action Form

So, what can you expect in 2022?

The biggest news is the introduction of Single sign-on (SSO) - an authentication method that enables users to automatically and securely log in to Qudos3 IMS Software with their Windows credentials. Another big new feature in the pipeline is enhanced document approval and acknowledgement facilities for all users. This will offer an extremely useful tool or wider HR / P&C functions in addition to Quality / OHS / Environmental and Information Security management. We are also currently working on enhancements to the Risk module and there will also be the addition of a new Register module for the flexible creation and edit of any kind of user-defined Register.

Compliance and risk management webinars

Our recent webinar program has been very well attended. It has included several webinars on use of Qudos3 (training and Competence management, Asset management, and Action templates for incident reporting, complaints handling and multiple other uses). We have also delivered general compliance and risk management webinars on behalf of AOQ (Australian Organisation for Quality),

We will be continuing our complimentary webinar service during 2022. The first will be on Objective planning - a requirement of clause 6.2 in ISO standards such as ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 45001 OH&S, ISO 14001 Environment, and ISO 27001 Information Security. Details will be published shortly. Click here to receive notifications.
