The fast track to ISO 27001 certification

We are delighted to congratulate  Australian Valuers on becoming our latest client to achieve ISO 27001 certification for its ISMS (Information Security Management System).

Australian Valuers provides a wide range of valuation services to individuals and coprorate entities. All the company's valuers office are members of the Australian Property Institute and are registered with the Queensland Valuers Registration Board. Quality management is the backbone of this company resulting in reliable reporting of a very high standard. Its professional staff specialise in their valuation field of choice, which enables the company to provide each individual client with accurate advice  in any asset class.

In line with an increasing trend, it was beginning to be asked by some major banks clients to provide assurance of information security management. So, in early 2021 the Directors invited Qudos to assist in establishing an ISMS. The brief was for a system to suit its needs and that could be certified to the ISO 27001 standard. After an initial Gap Analysis, we also provided Qudos3 IMS software plus consultancy and internal audit services. With just a little guidance, most of the system development work was performed in-house. This method achieved a very high level of 'ownership' of the system. Australian Valuers was successfully certified to ISO 27001 by Best Practice Certification in December 2021. A great achievement in such a short period of time!
